Qualification Entry Requirements
To enrol in the Security Refresher (3 Units) course, participants must meet the following requirements:
Hold a current Queensland Security Licence that includes either Crowd Controller and/or Bodyguard functions
Be within the 3-year renewal period as outlined by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) for mandatory refresher training
Be physically capable of demonstrating empty hand control techniques and performing CPR on a manikin
Have sufficient English language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) skills to read legal documents, follow instructions, and complete written assessments
Bring a valid form of photo ID on the day of training (e.g., driver’s licence or passport)
Please note: Participants who do not meet the licensing criteria will not be eligible to undertake this course.
On successful completion of the refresher training, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment for the following nationally recognised units:
