Course Description:
This qualification is for individuals who perform a range of skilled logistic operations within a range of broader related activities involving routines, methods and procedures, where discretion and judgement is required in the selection of equipment, services or contingency measures and within known time constraints. The person may work in a warehouse or factory but usually in an office and there job includes the responsibility for coordinating the work of others. They work independently with policy direction from management, undertaking a range of complex tasks taking responsibility for work outcomes.
The six Licensing units to drive a commercial vehicle, light rigid, medium rigid, heavy rigid, heavy combination and multi-combination vehicle, can be trained by HR training, but we do not issue driving licences. For those who hold these licences we offer RPL for the units where the person satisfies their organisations standard driving practices. The licensing units within the qualification align with licensing and regulatory requirements applicable to driving and Australian state/ territory regulatory requirements.
